Feng Shui Master and Co-Founder

Richard Carpenter first learned about Feng Shui from his father. His father was very interested in the art and architecture of traditional Japan; an opportunity to study and observe presented itself while he participated in reconstruction after WWII. As a youth, his father telling him stories about a thing called Fuu-Sui (Japanese for Feng Shui) and he should learn about it. Over the years, he read every English translation on the subject he could find. In 1995, while searching for more knowledge, he began his study in Feng Shui under the guidance of Master Sang at the American Feng Shui Institute.

Over the past 27 years, Mr. Carpenter has applied nearly every Feng Shui technique Master Sang has taught either on himself or his family so that he could observe the feedback. In nearly every instance, a measurable change was noticed. Using this experience, Mr. Carpenter began teaching courses at the American Feng Shui institute for over a decade before focusing solely on his clients. Mr. Carpenter uses his knowledge of the Chinese Arts to help his clients achieve their potential and surpass it. Since 2019, Mr. Carpenter has been teaching his youngest daughter, Chikara, about Feng Shui to help assist him with clients and continue the family tradition.

As a practitioner of Feng Shui, his philosophy is: “If you use Feng Shui to help yourself or others to improve your life and it works, you’ve gained everything; if nothing happens then you’ve lost nothing! So study hard and find out for yourself the power of this ancient knowledge. ”

Chikara Carpenter

Feng Shui Apprentice and Co-Founder

Chikara Carpenter was first introduced to Feng Shui from her father and Feng Shui Master, Richard Carpenter. Born in 2001, Chikara grew up during her father’s Feng Shui education at the American Feng Shui Institute. Her father was eager to learn more about Feng Shui and would apply any technique he could on himself and his family, including Chikara.

As a child, she became very familiar with the concept of Feng Shui as her father used these techniques to help promote her success in academics and other areas of life. During car rides to gymnastics or martial arts, Mr. Carpenter would always teach Chikara a new Feng Shui technique he had read about.

After graduating from high school in 2019, Chikara began to undertake her Feng Shui education more seriously and study under her father in hopes of becoming the face of the next generation of Feng Shui. Since then, Chikara has accompanied her father to each client he visits to learn more about the art of Feng Shui.

In December 2022, Chikara earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. With this degree she hopes to continue to help her father bring prosperity to their clients via Feng Shui.
